Some of Jesus’ most amazing ministry occurred around a dinner table. Each Wednesday at 5:30 pm, we gather in the church fellowship hall for a potluck dinner. No agenda, no program, no stress, just dinner. There are always amazing dishes to try, even if sometimes most people bring desserts. We have never had a complaint about the food. If you don’t have time or desire to cook, some people bring Chicken Express or deli side dishes form Brookshires. If you don’t have time to stop and get something to bring, we have never had a shortage of food … or conversation.
We’ll be done by 6:00 if you want to go to our weekly Bible study, or you can just come for dinner (we have people who do both). Few things are better in a small town church than a good potluck. “O taste and see that the Lord is good …” – Psalm 34:8a (KJV)
