Blessing of the Animals 2018

Each year, on the second Sunday of October, we bring our furry friends to worship with us so that we can thank God and ask his blessing on the animals in our lives. Most people bring there canine companion, but many also bring photos of their feline friends. This year we also had a chicken and a pig! We even had one person who drives a pilot car for oversized load send a photo of her dog to us so that we could do a long distance blessing (God knows where her do is).

This is often one of the more popular worship experience of the year with children of all ages. Plan to join us next year and bring your animal friends! Pastor Brad does ask that your animals have at least 2 legs … and no more than 4 … and that you not remove legs to get down to the required number. ☺
