Worship

IMG_1098Our primary worship experience is at 11:00 on Sunday mornings. We have a mixture of traditional liturgy and hymns as well as more current music. We pray the Lord’s Prayer. We say together what we believe. We pray. We sing. We proclaim the Word of God. And we celebrate the sacraments! Children are ALWAYS welcome in worship. Children are never a disruption or an interruption. They are a gift from God. We also have a “Children’s Church” during the worship time for parents who want to utilize it. During Children’s Church, children learn about God in age appropriate ways.

Pastor Brad preaches from the Common English Bible (CEB) translation so the text is more understandable. Sermons relate the scriptures written 2,000 years or more ago to what is happening in our lives today.

5thSunday-2018-10-01-22h03m41s45 Each 5th Sunday we have an All-Music Worship experience. We allow voices from some of the great saints from the past to speak to us through the songs that they wrote. We hear from Fanny Crosby, Charles Wesley, Isaac Watts, and we hear from some more current voices like David Crowder and Chris Tomlin. There are as many ways to worship God as there are people. Sometimes we have an old-fashioned hymn sing. Sometime we have visiting music groups sing special music. ALL the times we worship God. These are great times to visit. We’ll save a seat for you.
